7th June! Another birthday celebrated among friends. Previous night at 9.30 pm which was 12 in India, I blew the candles on a cake brought by Ishrat, arranged by Himani. It was a great surprise. Himani was on the phone as I cut the cake. Then Monis called up. The cake was yummy. Ishrat and I spent some time together talking and seeing the pictures of my children. Then we walked for sometime in the warm breezy night before saying our goodnights. It was good.
Akka, Bavagaru and Sushmit called me last evening in advance. Today morning Daddy and Anna called me. Later I called and got wishes from Mom, Paru, Ricky and Bittu. Got Vikram's sms in the morning and phone call in the night. In email - Sanjeev, Shridhar, Patils, Dhawal sent their wishes. Few virtual cards from Himani. bahut pyaare hain.
Today Kiki asked me to come to her place for tea. I said fine 'cause it had been a long time. I had a nap. Got ready. Went to Kiki's place and she said Jenny asked us to come to her place. I returned Kiki's books. Then called Sherin who was supposed to visit me and told her to call me before she comes. She said she will come after 1 hour. Kiki and I walked to Jenny's flat. I noticed that she was dressed up. Then Sherin and Sanah surfaced. It didnt take long to realise it was a surprise party!!! Jenny baked a cake. It was too good - cake, tea, chips, ice-creams and the chat.
Before I blew the candles, I made a wish to have such friends always!
Sanah made a beautiful card. Jenny gave me a big recipe book. Kiki gave me gorgeous candles.
